History

Art of Fighting 2 pushed the original's technical ambition to the limit in 1994, offering an expanded roster of 12 fighters where Yuri Sakazaki became playable for the first time. The game retained the giant sprites, camera zoom, and bruising damage, but refined the gameplay with a rage gauge usable both offensively and defensively, and the debut of a young Geese Howard as a secret final boss. Single-player matches are famous for their brutal CPU difficulty. The AES cartridge is highly accessible for collectors, standing as a cornerstone of SNK's golden age.
