Forum user Wisenheimer_VZ on neogeo-system.com was the first to spot Plaion in the exhibitor search on tgs.cesa.or.jp on August 25, 2026, backing it up with screenshots. Shortly after, Nostromo relayed the find on the Neo Geo AES thread at neo-geo.com, with a "23 days to go" countdown that reignited the conversation across the international community.

Who's exhibiting where

• Plaion is listed in the General Exhibition Area, the public-facing space where publishers usually set up playable booths.
• SNK appears separately, in the Business Meeting Area, typically reserved for press, distributor and partner meetings.

What fans expect to see

Neither Plaion nor SNK has released an official teaser or confirmed the booth's exact content, so everything below is community speculation, not official information:

• Playable units in their final production form, in both black and white.
• Public validation of the technical specs already announced (ASIC chip, original cartridge support, HDMI output).
