Developed by Yumekobo in 1998 as the spiritual successor to the acclaimed Pulstar, it stands out for its beautiful pre-rendered 3D backgrounds combined with detailed 2D sprites of ships and massive biomechanical bosses. Players choose from six combat ships, each with unique firing patterns, charge shots, and point multipliers. It is famous for its fast pace, colorful special effects, and deep scoring system. Due to its late release, the original AES cartridge had a tiny print run, making it an extremely rare and prohibitively expensive collector's item.
